Volunteering at NCI Cromer – Become a Watchkeeper – Helping to protect our coastline

NCI Cromer is currently seeking volunteers to train as watchkeepers. Maritime experience is not required as training will be provided, while attending watches with our watchkeeper trainers. The training will cover all the knowledge you will need to help you pass your assessment as a certified watchkeeper.

What are the requirements of a watchkeeper? You should be between the ages of 18-80, have good eyesight and be prepared to keep at least two watches a month and attend on-going training sessions. We will welcome you into our friendly team.
