 Lulworth Range Information 

Lulworth gunnery range is usually active Monday to Friday inclusive, from 0930 – 1700; and night firing until midnight usually takes place on Tuesday and Thursday evenings.  A limited amount of weekend activity is also scheduled throughout the year.

For information concerning firing today or in the near future, including start and finish times and the danger area(s) affected, near St Alban’s Head, please contact the NCI duty watch. Please telephone:01929 439220 or use VHF Ch 65 (Callsign: “St Albans Head NCI”).

In addition, the danger areas are patrolled by dedicated range safety boats, (Callsign: “Range Safety”, often with vessel’s name e.g. “Smit Frome”, “Smit Cerne”, or “Smit Wey”), who monitor VHF Ch 08 whilst the range is active
