You can visit the lookout when we’re open. Our friendly watchkeepers will be more than happy to invite you in, subject to operational reasons. We’re open everyday 0800 to 1700 during winter and 0800 to 2000 during summer.

The lookout is located next to Shoreham Fort. Access is via Forthaven where there is a pay & display car park. There are local bus services from Old Fort Road which runs Monday to Saturday.

Disabled Access Disclaimer

Unfortunately, due to the nature of our facility and the surrounding shingle beach, we are unable to provide access for the disabled. Our lookout room is situated on the first floor and access is via external stairs.
