NCI Lyme Bay received a called from Solent Coastguard asking if we could see a person stuck in the mud, north west of esplanade at West Bay. Although this area is not visible from the lookout, CCTV cameras could also be used to scan the area. However nothing could be seen. Eventually the Coastguard Rescue Team located the individual and an ambulance was on standby. Another example of NCI supporting the search and rescue services.
