20th March 2023. The presentation Team from the National Coastwatch Institution station at Exmouth were invited to give a talk to a group called Cornerstones in Woodbury on 15th March. They were invited to The White Hart public house, where the group had booked the function room.
The Cornerstones are a group of mainly retired gentleman who meet occasionally for a meal and get together. They often have guest speakers and NCI Exmouth were lucky enough to be invited along as two of their members are serving Exmouth Watchkeepers.
After a pleasant meal, Hugh Sutherland gave a detailed presentation if the charity’s aim and how they assist the Maritime and Coastguard Agency with keeping our coastline safe.
A spokesperson for NCI Exmouth said “If you know of a group or club who would like a guest speaker, our Presentation Team will come and give an informative talk about our volunteers and charity in a 30- 40 minute power point presentation. Go to our website and tab “Presentations” to book”.
