DORSET NCI STATIONS TAKE ON THE BBC EGGHEADS

11th March 2017. A team from the Dorset NCI stations took on the BBC ‘Eggheads’ in the BBC2 TV quiz programme Eggheads hosted by Jeremy Vine. The program was recorded earlier in the year and was broadcast on Friday 10th March.

Competing against the resident experts for a prize of £16,000 was the Lookout Eggheads team consisting of David Martin, Shelley Macpherson and John Newth from NCI St Alban's Head, Geoff Goy from NCI Lyme Bay and John Ungley from NCI Portland Bill, with Judi Gifford from NCI Lyme Bay as the "Reserve".

The competition was stongly contested but sadly the Lookout Eggheads were narrowly beaten in the final round three to two. Well done to all concerned.
