How to find us

Travelling West along the M4, leave motorway at Junction 42. Follow the A483 into Swansea and then the A4067 to Mumbles and Gower.

At the junction of B4336 turn right up the hill, following the signs to Gower.

After a village called Kittle turn right again and after about 1 mile come to T junction.

Turn left onto A4118. This is the road from Swansea to Scurlage and Port Eynon.

At Scurlage, turn right onto B4247 and follow through to Rhossili. Where there is a National Trust Car Park.

Travelling East on the M4, leave the motorway at Junction 47, follow A483 towards Swansea. Travel down the hill and at the roundabout turn right onto A484. Go straight on at the 1st roundabout but turn left at the next one. Go under a railway bridge to a set of traffic lights and turn right onto B4295.

Continue on this road going through Penclawdd and onto Llanrhidian but beware of 40 mph Average Speed Cameras along this stretch of road.

There is a ‘ESSO’ garage on the left, turn left straight away onto B4271, keep going until just after a cattle grid, turn right and travel across the common which is unfenced – up the hill and down the other side going through Reynoldston (BE CAREFUL – VERY NARROW ROADS) to the A4118.

Follow the signs to Rhossili after turning right at Scurlage on B4247 and follow the road to Rhossili and a National Trust Car Park.

Pedestrian access is from the car park, follow the path through the gate and onto the cliff path (suitable for Wheelchairs etc.). Walk approx. ¾ to 1 mile on mainly level track, then up the fairway to our Lookout and the views over Worms Head.

National Coastwatch watchkeepers provide the eyes and ears along the coast, monitoring radio channels and providing a listening watch in poor visibility. They are trained to deal with emergencies offering a variety of skills and experience, and full training by the National Coastwatch ensures that high standards are met.
