The station is open to the public and duty Watchkeepers are happy to answer any questions concerning their duties, the NCI in general and even the buildings history.

At busy times watchkeepers may only be able to refer the public to leaflets available on the visitor counter as operational duties take priority.

NCI merchandise is also on sale, the proceeds of which go towards maintaining the station and it's equipement.

 If, on the other hand, you are able to offer us any information concerning the building's history (especially photos of the original searchlight) please visit or contact us.

Please Note: When the station is open it is operational as a coastal lookout and you may be asked to leave in the event of an emergency, saving lives is our priority.
